We're extremely pleased to confirm we will be appearing as Special Guests of Thin Lizzy at two shows in August - on Friday 17th August at The Sands Centre in Carlisle and on Saturday 18th August at Belsonic 2012 in Belfast. The Answer and Sweet Savage will also be appearing at the Belfast show.
Full details and tickets for these shows are available at The Sands Centre and Belsonic 2012.
Needless to say we're very much looking forward to playing our first ever show in Carlisle as well as returning to Belfast, a place which for us has become a firm favourite in our touring schedule.
Roll on August!
Tired. Got to bed about 5.45am, woke up around 9am and just couldn't get back to sleep. Grrr! We met in reception at midday and found a rather splendid diner where we had brunch. Bellies full we headed off to Shepherd's Bush and the Empire.

We've hired in some extra lights and the rig is looking pretty impressive. Tonight's lighting lady Stacy has done us proud. We have the lovely Jane on the monitors who is an absolute sweetie. "Can I have some more kick drum in the monitor please Jane?" "Of course you can my darling." Fantastic. The vibe in the camp is awesome. Soundcheck is once again hitch-free and we retire to our dressing room to sign more DVDs. We have some interviews to do today and once they are done it's time to shower and get ready for the show. Being London, my family are all coming. Freya is bringing some school friends and they're very excited apparently. Even my sister-in-law is coming along, she hasn't been to a show since the reunion and I was told she was very emotional during the gig bless her. With my brother too ill to attend I think it just got to this most special person seeing us back on stage together. Love you Ana x
Showtime of 9.15pm is looming, we're side stage and I'm nervous, the most nervous I've been for all the 3 shows. It's my home town, family and friends are there and I don't want to let them down. The lights go down for the last time, a huge roar goes up and the intro tape comes on. Heart racing, I head up to the kit. I look out again onto a sea of smiling faces. Steve walks out playing the opening chords to That Girl. We're off! The venue is seated tonight and we were told by our management "Make sure you get the crowd on their feet." They wasted their breath as everyone is on their feet from the off. It sounds great onstage where I am, everyone in the band seems relaxed. There's always a little added pressure playing in London as it's where all the industry types are invited to come and cast their critical eyes over you. But to be truthful it's the opinion of you, our fans, I'm more interested in and from the reaction we're getting I think we're doing ok.

Thanks to everyone concerned in making these shows happen. We had a blast, but again, thanks to you all for turning up, you're as important to our gigs as that bloke Overland at the front.
See you next time. God bless.

Woke up about 8am, tried to get back to sleep, couldn't, balls. Sharing with Richard, our sound man. Rich is also driving us, he'd had a long day and I didn't want to disturb him by getting up so I lay there and probably dozed a bit but not so I noticed. Rich woke about 10.30am, we got ready and went in search of caffeine-filled beverages. We got on the road to Manchester about 12.30pm. An easy drive into the City of Manchester.
The crew are here, the gear is going in. Wow, what a fine venue. It's a sell-out, I'm thinking tonight could be rather special. Soundcheck goes without a hitch, all sounding good. The Deborah Bonham Band is going to join us and Romeo's Daughter this evening and we also have a very special guest joining us tonight. Didge is coming along to play Heart of the Matter with us. How cool is that? Upstairs in the dressing room we have a mass Live In Europe DVD signing session. Old friend and Planet Rock Radio brekkie presenter Paul Anthony pops in to say hello. Showtime approaches, we're changed and ready to go.

There are over 800 FM fanatics in the building tonight. The lights go down and a huge cheer goes up, this is going to be great. The packed crowd is going nuts , it's a sea of smiling faces. We finish Frozen Heart and Didge is introduced, the place erupts. Didge walks on resplendent in green shades which then begin flashing, brilliant! Both Didge and Jem are out front on their keytars. We're loving it and so are the audience. Thanks Didge, it was great playing with you again, top stuff. The crowd sing and dance the night away, another winner. Manchester thanks for a great evening.
We're staying in High Wycombe tonight which should be about two and a half hours travel time... unfortunately those helpful chaps at the highways agency have decided to close the M6 through Stafford so it's 'A' road hell for miles. We finally arrive at the hotel at 5.15am all pretty exhausted, especially Richard who was doing the driving.

25 years (and a bit) ago our debut INDISCREET was unleashed onto the unsuspecting public and here we are today heading for Glasgow to celebrate that fact with the first of our "25Live" shows. We're playing the album in its entirety, some songs we haven't played live for probably 20 years or more, and with Love Lies Dying, tonight it will receive its live debut.
Today started as any normal weekday with the school run but that was to be the end of any normality for the next 3 days. Straight afterwards I headed for South Ealing tube station where I met Steve O and Jim K. We're flying up to Glasgow and the 10am meet at LHR T5 is far more civilised than some of the daft o'clock starts we had last summer. 4.30am for Sweden Rock was particularly grim. With an uneventful tube journey under our belts we arrive just before 10am and meet up with the rest of the guys. Through security, no dramas there, and into Giraffe for a bit of morning sustenance. After watching what I ate for a month I rewarded myself with a rather splendid cooked breakfast washed down with a large coffee. The flight is on time, we have a gate, a good start to proceedings. Jim is a nervous flyer so this part of the day is never top of his list bless him. We push away from the gate on time but then get held up on the runway for about 15 minutes.

Doors open and the gig is filling up nicely as the Romeos hit the stage. I wander out to the sound desk to watch the band go through their paces. Sounding good RD. Back in the dressing room I get changed into my stage attire, a sparkly little number tonight with some black slacks methinks. We're on at 8.45pm and it is fast approaching. Our new intro tape gets its first airing, Glasgow roars... it's showtime!
As always the passionate Scots are there with us from the off. As a band, especially on an opening night with all the adrenaline pumping, it's hard sometimes to keep things steady, and being the drummer it's my job to count things in, set the tempo, doing the whole keeping things steady thing. My approach is count stuff in slower than you think and it's normally about right. Let me tell you, if I counted songs in at the tempo of how I'm feeling behing the kit, the gig would be over in about 20 minutes
The show goes without any major hitches and we're all very happy with the pacing of the set. The Scottish crowd, as usual, go nuts singing their hearts out. I have to say the first verse of Frozen Heart sounds fantastic sung with a Scottish accent

Aftershow we had our Meet & Greet session. Great seeing some old and new faces, we met two lovely young ladies who were 2 when INDISCREET came out, and another who was born in 1986. How old does that make you feel? Answer - very! Lovely meeting them. Big up to Glasgow, we'll be back! We drove to Lancaster aftershow which is a good 3-hour drive. We arrive at the hotel about 3.30am and - after having to go down to get some bedding for my bed??? - I hit the hay at 3.50am. I think I'm right in saying a good day and night was had by all.
